Sleep-over!

Concluding a Deepavali dinner was a cosy chit chat with people I’ve come to realise, although in-apparent at first, that I can share with.

We were speaking of sexual identity, about homosexuality and heterosexuality and bisexuality.

Why though, the idée fixe with labelling? Does classifying behaviour help the individual? With the complexity of the human condition, I doubt mere tags are capable of encapsulating the individuals.

Like in various online portals, I was asked to describe myself, keeping under 2000 characters.

I was utterly stumped.

If I could be thoroughly identified in that limit, I would be sorely disappointed in my failure to develop as a person of depth.

Just a jotting of ideas, I would be exploring this further. In the (near?) future.

One thing is certain, of course; right now, a description of me would most certain involve Sophia and Fabian, fellow founding members of the sleep-over club.

And no, we’re not too old for a sleep-over club.
