Walking alone in the rain can be strangely liberating.
After a long day, not being as productive as you would have hoped to be, watching a movie on a broken projector and laughing and giggling and saying the lines just as the characters on-screen are with people you may just may consider friends, I found it necessary to make my own way back home.
No favours. I am my own person. And I intend to become that person under my own steam.
Something I suppose which is a personal philosophy; so yes. It’s not about being shy or stupid, it’s about how if I can’t even be independent from getting from place to place, how can I reach the places I want without help?
So walking in the rain, in the dark. Finding my way through unfamiliar lanes. Getting to where I wanted.
It helped my soul.
I don’t think I’ve lost who I am.
And walking in the rain. Not wanting to reach the end of my journey. Not really.
It is liberating. Assurance of my independence.
And a reminder of my solitariness.

The rain has a rather calming effect… It seems to fit all moods as well. When you are unhappy, it is like the sky is crying with you… When you are happy, it’s such a lively and refreshing feeling to be in that rain…

rain cleanses and refresh my feelings, or so it seems to me. i have the habit of putting my hands outta the window when it rains. I just wanna be close to nature once in a while. away from this doubtful society.
