silence

On buses, and on buses for long journeys, and on buses for long journeys alone, I tried to look for a glimmer. Something faint, something glimmer-y, something which meant that even though I was on a bus for a long journey alone, I didn’t need to be on a bus for a long journey alone.

Just a friendly voice. Or better yet, a voice from a friend.

I tried calling. A ring. Two rings. Many rings. A lot of rings.

I tried to call someone else. A ring. Two rings. Many ri– my battery dies on me.

So I’m on a long bus journey alone, wondering if I had to be alone, long bus journey or no.

What good is it to have 300+ friendster connections, but almost no one to turn to when you really needed a helping hand? – Dave

I do share the same sentiments with you. 300++ friends and no one to turn to…

sigh
